Floor rugs, runners and mats for your home

Explore area rugs, round rugs, runners, door mats, bath mats, kitchen mats, outdoor rugs and selected rug underlay. Compare the product's dimensions, shape, construction, backing and intended placement before choosing floor coverage for your room.

Measure the space first

Check furniture placement, door clearance and the usable floor area. For entrances and wet areas, check the individual backing and care instructions. Only use a rug outdoors where the listing supports that placement; appearance alone does not establish weather resistance.

Rug buying questions

How do I choose the right rug size?

Measure the intended area and mark the proposed rug footprint. Allow for doors, walkways and the position of furniture, then compare the actual listed dimensions.

Are all rugs suitable for bathrooms or patios?

No. Intended use varies by material, construction and backing. Check the selected product's stated placement and care requirements.

Is a throw rug the same as a floor rug?

Not necessarily. Some products use throw rug to mean a blanket for a sofa or bed. Check the description for actual floor use rather than relying on the word rug alone.

Does every rug include underlay?

No. Underlay may be sold separately. Check what is included and whether the rug or your floor requires a suitable separate pad.

Can every rug go in a washing machine?

No. Cleaning requirements vary. Follow the individual care label, including instructions for spot cleaning, washing, drying and the backing.
