Choosing table tennis equipment

Measure the table area and room for players to move, then compare folded dimensions and storage requirements. Portable, travel and full-size equipment serve different spaces. Check surface suitability before choosing a retractable net.

Table tennis questions

Are all tables full-size?

No. Compare the stated playing-surface dimensions. Compact and travel options can be smaller.

Can a retractable net fit any table?

Check the maximum span, clamp opening and compatible edge thickness for that net.

Are paddles and balls included?

Review the selected package contents. Tables, nets and accessory sets have different inclusions.

Can I leave a table outside?

Only use and store it as the manufacturer specifies. Do not assume an indoor table is suitable for outdoor exposure.

What should I check for a ball launcher?

Compare compatible ball size, power requirements, adjustment options and the clearance needed for practice.
