Patio Umbrellas Australia

Patio umbrellas, outdoor bases and stands

Browse cantilever and centre-pole umbrellas for patios, decks and outdoor dining, alongside umbrella bases and weight plates. Compare canopy dimensions, pole size, opening mechanisms and the components included with each option.

Choose an umbrella for your space

Measure the area you want to shade and allow clearance for the open canopy, nearby walls and furniture. Check the base footprint and the manufacturer's support requirements. A canopy size alone does not establish which base or table opening will fit.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between centre-pole and cantilever umbrellas?

A centre-pole umbrella has its support through the centre of the canopy. A cantilever or offset model positions the support to one side. Compare the full footprint and base requirements rather than canopy width alone.

Is a base included?

Inclusions differ. Check whether the listing supplies the umbrella, cross base, weight plates or a complete base, and whether additional weights are required.

Will any umbrella base fit?

No. Match pole diameter, mounting design and support requirements to the particular umbrella. Check the manufacturer's compatibility information before choosing a separate base or stand.

Can I leave an umbrella open in wind?

Follow the manufacturer's wind precautions and closing instructions. Do not assume a heavy base makes an open umbrella suitable for every weather condition.

How should I care for the canopy?

Follow the product's cleaning, drying and storage instructions. Check whether a protective cover is included or sold separately and match its dimensions to the closed umbrella.
